The All Black's Odd in the Rugby World Cup 2023

We at NZCasinoClub.com have taken a look at the All Blacks odds in this year's World Cup before, however, as we draw closer to the event, we get more information about the different teams and their odds for winning the games.

The French and the New Zealand rugby teams are equally good, but sports betting sites conclude that France is the favourite team in the Rugby World Cup 2023, with New Zealand following close on their heels.

Last summer, New Zealand came second best to the Irish team during their southern hemisphere tour, despite which the All Blacks won the Rugby Championship title several weeks later.

However, the All Blacks, who had to suffer defeat at the hands of Argentina and South Africa, had to fight hard for their victory. But ultimately, they beat the Springboks and became the tournament champions for the third year in a row.

Sportsbooks Give France Better Odds of Winning

According to the top-rated sports betting sites Bet365, Betway Sports, William Hill, and BetVictor, France has a 26.67% chance of winning the Rugby World Cup 2023, while New Zealand has a 23.09% chance.

Ireland, South Africa, and Australia have a 20%, a 16.67%, and a 10% chance of winning, respectively.

The sportsbooks mentioned above give France odds of 11/4, while New Zealand gets odds of 10/3 at William Hill and 3/1 at Bet365 and Betway.

Ireland gets odds of 4/1 at BetVictor, Bet365, and Betway Sports and 7/2 at William Hill. BetVictor, Bet365, and Betway Sports give Ireland odds of 4/1, while William Hill Sportsbook gives the Irish team odds of 7/2.

Foster to Step Down, Robertson to Take Over

Ian Foster, a native of Putaruru, will step down as the head coach of the All Blacks after the Rugby World Cup of this year.

Foster was the assistant of Steve Hansen, the previous head coach, for seven years before he took over the position of head coach. He has firmly stated that he will not be re-applying for the post.

During a review following the loss of the All Blacks to the Springboks at the start of the Rugby Championship season, the coaching staff of the All Blacks underwent several changes. Foster was to continue as the head coach until the Rugby World Cup 2023.

Scott Robertson, the coach of the Crusaders, will sign a four-year contract to become the head coach of the All Blacks after the Rugby World Cup 2023.

We do not know how these changes will impact the performance of the All Blacks. They may be motivated to do their best. On the other hand, they may be discouraged that Foster will not be with them after the World Cup.

A Few Predictions

Nobody has seen the All Blacks in action after November 19, 2022. The game against England on that day resulted in a draw. But before that, the All Blacks won six games.

The Rugby World Cup 2023 will have only three games this year, and the Kiwi team will kick-start its campaign with an away match against Argentina on July 8 at Estadio Malvinas Argentinas, Mendoza.

This crucial game will reveal much about what the All Blacks will contribute to the World Cup.

The All Blacks Are Close behind France

The French team is the favourite because they won four out of five games in the Six Nations Championship this year. Also, the French team will play at home, which acts in their favour. Perhaps, this is why bookies give the French team 11/4 odds in the Rugby World Cup 2023 betting.

But the All Blacks are determined to become the first country to win the Rugby World Cup on four occasions, and their odds of achieving this are 3/1 at Bet365.

France and New Zealand to Clash on September 8

Rugby enthusiasts are eagerly waiting for the two top teams to play against each other in the Pool A opening game at Saint-Denis on September 8. Namibia, Uruguay, and Italy are also in the group.

If both teams reach the knockout rounds, they may have to play against Scotland, Ireland, or South Africa from Pool B.

All Blacks Have a Tough Fight Ahead

Because the Scots have improved a lot, the Irish have won the latest Six Nations Grand Slam, and the Springboks hold the championship, the All Blacks have a tough fight ahead. If the results are in their favour, we may see them making it to the last four and even beyond.
